It seems possible. Have 50K , bet 1% ( $500), follow Bucs MLB ( He wins 100 units yearly, like clockwork ( ?), that adds up to 50k ( right ?). Or you could bet Glaken Tennis, Steammaker Euro hockey, ACE-ACE in NFL, Winning systems MLB totals, or Frog NBA, or ???.

Why does this not work ?

Do we not have faith to follow them, and alter their picks ? Maybe we don't know who will be the hotshot ?

If anyone is worth a shot, I'd say Bucsand WS are best. They have statistical signifigance.

50K works for most people, that's like a $25/hour job minus benies. If it works you can bet more next year!

because people get greedy and one bad night which happens to everyone leads to people chasing either with there own plays or following someone else's and doom is sure to follow. This life isn't a race but a slow climb and i think most of us forget this.

Yosh has the hottest of all the handicappers at SSB. Rolled over a 60% year with lots of plays.

Everyone looked to jump on the bandwagon. Crunch! A bad run buried him and his followers.

People want to believe in the mythical 57% plus handicapper playing in major sports vs. widely available lines with lots of plays. It simply doesn't happen. Sure, the hot capper of the month rolls a 60% season in a sport, but track all his plays over the years and they all fall back to 55% or less*.

*WNBA, NASCAR, etc are not major sports, nor are prop bettors. I fully recognize these players can win at over 55%.

The problem is none of these guys have a verifiable 10-year record. I'd look at wether their lines are generally obtainable, for Bucs, the answer is yes.

You don't know if any of these guys will be around next year ! If they aren't... how do you know which one... is the one to follow?

My original post was meant as a caution, be careful ! Any of these guys can disappear !

I actually tried to do it very similarly but failed.

I had guys I personally tracked for at least a couple of years. Some were even verifiable long term winners. Yet when I bet their stuff (at numbers they got) most of them tanked.
I mean I thought ( I think much like you) that I had a sure thing going, yet it never seemed to work out that way
(BTW they were ALL FREE CAPPERS so at least I didnt compound the problem)

Heres a system

take a 10k bankroll or less....make 10% a month by betting 2% of your BR on each game so that comes out to be 5 games over .500...add $100. to your total BR each month.....continue this every month.
At the end of 2 years you will be writing songs and naming your children after me.

There are about 4-5 MLB cappers that are up awesome units, at least one will continue ( bucs ?), most of the rest will be - minus units going forward.

Fezz doesn't wish them bad, he knows what's going on with the numbers ! t's tough to know which hotshot (currently) will be the right one in Sept. ! Fezz knows his numbers !

I followed somebody since january who had a 10 year record of making money, esp. in baseball and I have never lost so much money than I have in these past 6 months. It just seems like whenever i jump on the bw the person takes a big ol' dump! More power to these guys if they can do it. but there is a gambling jinx when u start to foloow somebody elses plays.

It's called regression to the mean, precisely why I don't follow the recent hotshot, , esp. in sports I don't know jack about like tennis, WNBA, rugby, curling, boxing, etc. The minute I follow Glaken I know he will tank !

I don't need to follow anyone Doug, and all the BS about sqaures and sharps...I don't see how anyone is losing money, between the many good cappers here who win regularly and so many week numbers out there on halftimes and quarters , all it takes is discipline...at worst you can't be losing much if you play smart...

Serious question Doug, why not just pay Fezzik and play his plays only? If he's that good....what kind of verifiable record does he have and for how many years, I am curious?
